Pickup Policy

Local pick up is always FREE. Please write in a preferred pick up time on the check out page. Orders can be picked up during regular retail hours on Mondays 11am-5pm, Thurs. & Fri. 4pm-7pm and Saturdays 11am-4pm. Need a different time? Message us and we can arrange a time.

Notice a different in price between local pick up and boxed? We want to encourage our customers to shop small and local. If someone is taking the time to arrange a pick up time, get in their vehicle, drive to a pick up location, and go into a building, we would like to give that customer a discount. Every local pick up order receives a discount off the boxed price. The local customer could easily have chosen three other places in town to buy their meat, and they chose us. We would like to honor that local choice.

Shipping Policy

WE SHIP TO THE LOWER 48 STATES AND DC 

We ship our frozen meat every Monday or Tuesday and sometimes on Wednesdays. Meat boxes are sent UPS via 2nd-Day air, 3 Day Select or ground.

Local Pick-Up is always FREE -leave a note at check out with a preferred day and time to pick up. OR email marci@rattlesnakemeats.com to arrange a time.

Frozen Meat Boxes-

If shipping to these states below:

Kansas:

Buying a 10lb box of meat in Kansas and shipping it within the state? Boxes are shipped UPS, ground.

If shipping to any of the other lower 48 states:

Boxes are shipped UPS, via 2nd-Day air or 3 Day Select.

When?

Orders ship on the Monday, Tuesday and sometimes Wednesdays (during holiday rushes) after your order was placed.  Meat orders usually arrive in 24-48 hours after being shipped. Non-perishable orders (beef sticks, hats, other merchandise) can take more than 48 hours as they aren't rush mailed unless requested.

Meat should arrive to you frozen. If meat does not arrive frozen, kindly contact us and we will be happy to ship you a replacement box. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE BOX AFTER IT IS PICKED UP by the UPS carrier. If the box has been delivered to the wrong address, we will do our best to help remedy the situation.

All orders will go out from Pratt, Kansas on Mondays, Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays. If ordering meat boxes, your box could arrive as early as Tuesday. Most orders arrive on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of the same week (depending on the day shipped, storm delays, etc.).

All meat boxes are packed with dry ice.

After boxes leave us, we have no control over what happens with the box. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ADDRESS AND ZIP CODE WHEN ORDERING. UPS WILL DROP OFF THE BOX AT THE ADDRESS YOU PROVIDE.

Returns

Refunds will be made on damaged or broken goods. It is important to advise us immediately of damaged and broken goods so a refund can be issued.

Meat is not able to be shipped back to us for a refund due to its perishable nature.
